The latest number of the Australian Journal of French Studies is a special issue based on the theme of the 2021 Australian Society for French Studies Conference, convened (online) by the French Discipline at UQ. It contains a chapter "Un.siting French Studies" by issue editors Amy Hubbell, Joe Hardwick, Jenny Davis Barnett and Barbara Hanna; and the paper "'L'Histoire se lit dans la rue': Urban streetscapes as sites of a fragmented identity in Colette Fellous's Avenue de France" by Beth Kearney.

Congratulations to Beth Kearney for being named joint winner of the best postgraduate paper award at the recent (26-28 May) Women in French UK-Ireland conference in Leeds.
