The Language Data Commons of Australia (LDaCA) makes nationally significant language data available for academic and non-academic use and provides a model for ensuring continued access with appropriate community control.

The project is a collaboration between researchers and eResearch professionals at the University of Queensland, Australian National University, First Languages Australia, the University of Melbourne, the University of Sydney, AARNet, Batchelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education, QUT Digital Observatory and the University of Western Australia, in conjunction with the ARDC.

About the Australian Text Analytics Platform (ATAP)

The Australian Text Analytics Platform is an open source, collaborative cloud-based workbench that provides researchers in the humanities and social sciences with tools and training for analysing, processing, and exploring text.

ATAP previously received dedicated investment from the ARDC.  It is now part of the broader LDaCA project.
