HDR candidature information

Early Candidature Checkpoint

HDR candidates and their Principal Advisors are required to complete an Early Candidature Checkpoint 3-6 months into PhD candidature, or 2-3 months into MPhil Candidature (if full-time). This should be done during a regular supervisory meeting. More detail, including the forms for student and advisor, can be found here.

Progress Reviews

Candidates are required to complete progress reviews annually during full-time PhD candidature (twice a year for MPhil). These reviews provide an opportunity for structured feedback from a panel including the candidate’s advisors as well as other academics.
