Applications for enrolment in 2025-2026 are now open!

This Application Guide shows you how.

The Graduate Certificate was designed by Indigenous Language specialists exclusively for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to come together and learn the skills to revitalise and advocate for strong Language Communities.

You'll develop the knowledge and hands-on skills necessary to analyse, research, teach and learn your Language, while building a critical awareness of the social, cultural and political issues important to Languages, Language advocates and Language professionals. You’ll strengthen your project design and management skills by creating community-focused Language research and resources for use in your own Language context.

Meet Des Crump and Samantha Disbray and hear about the Indigenous Language Revitalisation program, which was recognised with a UQ Excellence Award, in this video.
