Abstract: The study is to explore the current situation of mobile-assisted Chinese learning and factors influencing Chinese learners’ mobile technology use in their learning process. To achieve this aim, the study will conduct a questionnaire survey and an interview among learners who are studying in Chinese universities. The research questions include (1) How do learners use mobile technologies for learning Chinese, and (2) What are the major factors influencing learners’ use of mobile technologies for learning Chinese? The research results may improve the understanding of mobile-assisted Chinese learning and serve as a reference for stakeholders when they are designing pedagogical strategies in the future.
