Congratulations to School of Languages and Cultures Postdoctoral Research Fellow Luis Miguel Rojas Berscia for winning the 2019 AVT/Anéla Dissertation Prize from the Center for Language Studies, Radboud University Netherlands.
Every year an independent jury selects the best linguistic dissertation that has been defended at a Dutch university in the past year for the General Association for Linguistics, the Anéla and the National Research School for Linguistics. The prize winner receives a cash prize, and a summary of the award-winning dissertation will be published in the Dutch Linguistics magazine.
Luis Miguel received the prize for his dissertation 'From Kawapanan to Shawi. Topics in language variation and change'.
