Japanese Language Teacher Monthly Study Group - November
In this session, our Vocabulary SIG and Technology SIG 2 will share their pedagogical practices, insights, and concerns regarding the development of students' competencies in these areas. This will be followed by a discussion on how these areas are addressed and taught in a UQ course.
About Japanese Language Teacher Study Group
In our monthly online study group, teachers across QLD gather and forge strong bonds with each other while gaining valuable insights from real classroom experiences and cutting-edge language teaching approaches. Our monthly sessions also cover a wide variety of topics tailored to teachers' interests, presented through different formats, including presentations, discussions, lectures and more.
In 2026, our monthly sessions will focus on indigenising the curriculum. We aim to create a space to share practical examples and experiences of how Indigenous perspectives and approaches can be embedded in Japanese language teaching.
