Topic: The Pottery Town of Mashiko 

Ms Oyama is a Professional Japanese to English translator and MAJIT graduate who has also produced, sold and exhibited pottery on a professional basis for about 30 years.

Presenting in person in English, Simultaneous and consecutive interpretation will be provided.

About MAJIT Live Interpreting Forums

Master of Arts in Japanese Interpreting and Translation (MAJIT) Forums are an opportunity to observe our masters students in action. Guest speakers are invited to present on a range of topics in either English or Japanese, with our masters students providing consecutive and simultaneous interpreting. Forums are free and open to anyone who wishes to attend. They will be presented face to face with an option to also join remotely via Zoom.
