Researcher biography

Dr. Lee has been trained in applied linguistics in MA and has conducted research in critical analysis of language textbooks and curriculum, postcolonial drama in Korea, language policy, multiculturalism in school curriculum, North Korean defectors. He has published 18 journal articles and a book chapter, and one co-authored book. His research covers not only in the language school curriculum in South Korea but also those in North Korea and China (for ethnic Korean). Recently he has expanded his research on Korean identity issues in China and Australia.
