Director: 

Dr. Oscar Cardenas is a Chilean film director who has written and directed two feature films in Chile. "Rabia" (2006) was selected for competition in festivals such as Locarno, San Sebastian, Cairo, and 15 other festivals worldwide. His second feature film, "Una parte de mi vida," was produced for Chilean television as part of a special cycle featuring important Chilean directors of the 2000s. His most recent work, the short film "Sola" (Alone), has been selected in various festivals, notably the Viña del Mar 2023 International Film Festival.

In addition to his filmmaking career, Dr. Cardenas has served as a lecturer at the Film School of Chile and as a guest lecturer at The University of Queensland and Universidad de Chile.

His interest as a director and screenwriter lies in giving visibility to minority social groups. His cinema is crafted to amplify their hopes and dreams through simple yet emotionally profound stories.

Film Synopsis:

Camila has the dilemma of having to work or not as 'escort under' to raise money and thus be able to help her sick mother. Through private chats, the B-side of paid sex is revealed in contemporary Chile.
