Speaker: Mr William McMichael, the Deputy Director of the Fukushima University International Centre, and Assistant Professor of the Fukushima University Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.

Mr McMichael founded the Fukushima Ambassadors Program in 2012 and over the years has hosted over 300 international students and researchers on study tours throughout Fukushima Prefecture.

Mr McMichael will present in English. Consecutive and simultaneous interpreting will be provided.

Master of Arts in Japanese Interpreting and Translation (MAJIT) Forums are an opportunity to observe our masters students in action. Guest speakers are invited to present on a range of topics in either English or Japanese, with our masters students providing consecutive and simultaneous interpreting. Forums are free and open to anyone who wishes to attend. They will be presented face to face with an option to also join remotely via Zoom.
