Abstract:

Using digital tools to collect data from social media is more efficient than manually searching, copying, and pasting information from social media sites. This workshop introduces the Digital Observatory, which provides scholars with customized social media data for their research, covers key concepts related to collecting social media data, and discusses tools for collecting this type of data.
