This Alexander Rou's classic 1964 fairy tale "Morozko" (translated as "Frosty" or "Jack Frost") has many of the fairy tale archetypes and is a beloved childhood film among generations of Russians. The film also used to be popular in Eastern Europe.

The film is shown in Russian with English subtitles. All are welcome to attend.

The 9th of May is the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War (WWII), which is an important holiday in Russia and many former Soviet Republics.

The School of Languages and Cultures will be screening three film screening sessions across the day. Come along and bring a friend, all are welcome to attend. No RSVP necessary. 

In memory of the millions of people who lost their lives in that awful war.
