On Sunday 9 July, the Cinémathèque at the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art will screen the latest works by one of France’s most radical contemporary filmmakers, Philippe Grandrieux. This will be the world premiere of Grandrieux’s new triptych, ‘Unrest’. Following the screening, UQ’s School of Languages and Cultures Associate Professor Greg Hainge will launch his new book ‘Philippe Grandrieux: Sonic Cinema’, which provides an overview and critical analysis of Grandrieux's entire career. Please note that the films are rated 18+ and contain nudity and sexual scenes. For more information, please visit the GOMA website.
